B&C Morning Show: When Boomer's Away...

With Boomer taking the day off to do some skeet shooting in Kentucky to benefit the BEF, it was Michelle Beadle sitting alongside Craig in the Allstate Studio, admirably filling in for the Blonde Bomber.

After Craig explained why Booms didn't invite him along (citing safety concerns), Jason Kidd, the recently retired point guard who was hired by the Brooklyn Nets to be their head coach, got things started. Whether or not Kidd has what it takes to be successful from the sideline remains to be seen, so Craig elected not to spend much time speculating. Instead, he decided to do some advocating.

Craig advocated for the Knicks to hire Patrick Ewing to be on their staff. Ewing was recently hired by the Charlotte Bobcats to be their associate head coach, but Craig vowed to get to the bottom of what he perceives to be an agenda against the former Knicks' big man.

The advocating didn't stop there though, as Craig continues to bang the "David Wright needs to be the NL starter in the All-Star Game drum," which prompted Michelle to have some dirty thoughts about Wright's manly teammate, Daniel Murphy.

So it was in that manner that things began on this Thursday edition of the Morning Extravaganza...
