Craig has been out in front of the “make David Wright an All-Star starter” campaign as the Mets third baseman currently trails the San Francisco Giants Pablo Sandoval in the voting.
The Mets organization reportedly joined the cause, reaching out to a website called CougarLife.com, only to have their efforts thwarted — not by the cougar folks, but by someone within the Mets.
