Cops Seek Suspect In Alleged Sexual Assault Of Bronx Bus Driver

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD was asking the public for help Friday in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with the sexual assault of a bus driver in the Highbridge section of the Bronx.

The suspect has been described a black male in his 30s. He is around 5-foot-7, weighs 180 pounds and has a scar under his left eye. The suspect boarded a BX18 bus at 3:30 p.m. on May 15, engaged the driver in conversation, and allegedly sexually assaulted her.

The suspect fled the bus at Undercliff Avenue and 171st Street, police said.
