NYPD: 15-Year-Old Boy Caught With Gun At Bronx Subway Station

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 15-year-old boy was caught at a Bronx subway station with a gun in his waistband, police said.

Officers stopped the teen and three others after they saw the group go inside the Grand Concourse and East Fordham Road entrance on the D-line without paying the fare around 3:30 p.m. Thursday, police said.

The 15 year old has been charged with criminal possession of a weapon after police said they found him with a .22-caliber firearm.

The others were charged with intent to fraudulently obtain transportation without payment and criminal trespass.
