NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The decomposed body of an unidentified woman was found late Friday at the junction of the Van Wyck Expressway and the Belt Parkway near John F. Kennedy International Airport.

Police responded to the Van Wyck and South Conduit Avenue around 9:25 p.m. Friday, and found the body. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The New York City Medical Examiner’s office was to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of the woman’s death.

As of midday Saturday, there were no arrests in the case and no further details had been released.
