Transit Worker Accused Of Carrying Stolen Gun

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A New York City transit worker was arrested Sunday and charged with carrying a stolen gun.

Kareem Parker, 32, was arrested around 3:20 a.m. Sunday in the 90th Precinct, which includes much of Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

The New York City Transit Authority employee was charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm, criminal possession of stolen property, and resisting arrest, police said.

Police did not provide further details on the arrest Sunday.

Police also did not indicate the capacity in which Parker works for the Transit Authority.
