Queens Man Who Escaped During Arrest Back In Custody
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A Queens man who escaped as officers were arresting him over the weekend is back in custody.
Lawrence Mason escaped into the subway station at West 116 Street and Lenox Avenue on the No. 2 and 3 line around 1 p.m. Saturday.
Mason, 52, was arrested Tuesday and charged with reckless endangerment, obstructing governmental administration, escape, bail jumping, criminal mischief, intent to fraudulently obtain transportation without payment and resisting arrest.
It is unclear where he was apprehended.
