Man, 80, Struck And Killed By Bus In Kips Bay
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — An 80-year-old man was struck and killed by a bus Wednesday in Kips Bay.
Boris Kidreman was crossing Third Avenue and East 20th Street at 10:37 a.m. Wednesday, when a southbound bus crossing with the green light slammed into him, police said.
Kidreman was struck by the bus, which remained at the scene, police said.
Kidreman, of the Waterside Plaza development a few blocks northeast, was taken to Beth Israel Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The investigation into the accident continued Wednesday evening.
