Runners Of All Abilities Take Part In Annual Achilles Hope & Possibility 5 Miler
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The 11th annual Achilles Hope & Possibility 5 Miler hit Central Park on Sunday.
The event brought together athletes with disabilities and able-bodied athletes for a qualifying run.
Boston Marathon bombing victim Mery Daniel and Eleanor Cox with Achilles International sat down with CBS 2's Dick Brennan before the run to discuss the importance of the event.
Daniel lost a leg in the blast. The run allows amputees to race for prizes.
