Police: Thieves Pull Off Smash-And-Grab Heist At Borgata Casino In A.C.

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for three men who allegedly pulled off a bold heist at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City.

Police said the three suspects stormed inside Borgata Jewels just before 8:45 p.m. Monday night and committed a smash-and-grab, CBS 2's Jenn Bernstein reported.

The men took approximately $500,000 worth of Rolex watches and jewelry, the Atlantic City Police Department confirmed to CBS 2.

They then ran outside to a dark-colored vehicle and took off, Bernstein reported.

Police said they do not believe the men were armed.

Atlantic City police released surveillance images of the suspects, but are waiting for possible surveillance video from inside the store which they hope will give a clearer picture of the men, Bernstein reported.
