NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A woman was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon after her hair got stuck in an escalator at the 125th Street No. 1 subway station in Harlem.
The woman’s hair became stuck in the escalator at the elevated subway station at 125th Street and Broadway around 4 p.m., authorities said.
The FDNY Emergency Medical Services division told 1010 WINS the woman was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital Center. Her condition was not immediately available, but she was expected to survive.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority did not indicate any train delays as a result of the incident.
