No Major Injuries When Small Plane Goes Down In Blairstown, N.J.

BLAIRSTOWN, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A small plane went down early Friday afternoon in Blairstown, N.J.

No major injuries were reported, CBS 2's Jim Smith reported from Chopper 2 HD.

The single-engine Piper aircraft was departing from the Blairstown Airport when it went down about half a mile west of the airport on Gwinnup Road.

The accident remained under investigation Friday afternoon.
