5 Suspects Wanted For Robbing, Tying Up 87-Year-Old Woman In Brooklyn

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Tuesday were searching for five suspects who tied up and robbed an 87-year-old woman in Brooklyn last month.

The robbery happened around 6:25 p.m. Saturday, June 15, in the 71st Precinct, which includes parts of the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn.

One of the suspects, a woman, rang the woman's door. When she answered, four male suspects stormed in, flashed a handgun, and tied up the woman before taking her jewelry.

The male suspects range in height from 5-fo07 to 6-2. The female suspect us 5-1, police said.

No other descriptions were provided, but a video showing all the suspects and a sketch of the female suspect were issued.
