New Yorkers Join Jay-Z As He Raps For 6 Hours At Chelsea Gallery
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Some New Yorkers were lucky enough Wednesday to spend six hours with Jay-Z as he rapped at the Pace Gallery in Chelsea, for what was to become part of a music video.
As 1010 WINS' Carol D'Auria reported, it was a strange mix of people who wanted to see Jay-Z at the gallery on West 25th Street. Some had an invitation, including an attorney who came dressed in his blue suit.

He liked Jay-Z, but was not sure why he was there.
"I have no clue," the attorney said. "I've been very nervous about my dance moves all day."
The promoters called it performance art. Jay-Z was rapping "Picasso Baby" for six hours inside the Pace Gallery, and those with connections were invited in with cameras rolling.
The love fest for Jay-Z will become a music video.
One of the legendary rapper's fans, Mob Barker, got in and said she was thrilled.
"You've got to love J," she said. "He always be humble and never change."
Jay-Z made reference recently on Twitter to "six pieces of art," of which published reports said the Pace Gallery event was one. He was inspired by The National performing their song "The Sorrow" for six hours at the Museum of Modern Art P.S. 1 in Long Island City, Queens a couple of months ago, according to Complex.com.
