One of the officers fired two shots, striking one of the suspects in the head after the Audi came at the officers, officials said.

That suspect was taken to University Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Meanwhile, the two other suspects drove off in the Audi which was later found by police a short distance away, officials said.

The two suspects fled on foot and are still on the loose.

The officers were treated at a hospital for stress-related symptoms, officials said.

The investigation is ongoing.
