Giants Ink Deals With Rookies Justin Pugh And Ryan Nassib

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) — The New York Giants have signed first-round draft pick offensive tackle Justin Pugh and his Syracuse teammate, quarterback Ryan Nassib, a fourth-rounder.

All seven of the team's draft choices now have signed contracts.

Pugh, something of a surprise choice at 19th overall, has played right tackle during offseason workouts. He started 34 games at left tackle for the Orange. He made the Big East's all-conference team three straight years, twice as a first-teamer.

Nassib was the 110th overall selection. The Orange ranked 17th nationally in offense last season and 476 yards per game, with Nassib averaging 289 in the air. He set school records with 3,749 yards and 26 TD passes in 2012. He is expected to be third in line at QB behind David Carr and Eli Manning.
