Tom Coughlin was very pleased after the Giants went through their conditioning drills to open training camp - he said all but one unidentified player made his goal weight and the team looked fit.

He will put his team through their first practice of camp Saturday without five players who were sent to the PUP list since they are coming off injuries and will be brought along slowly: Jason Pierre-Paul (back), Chris Snee (hip), Henry Hynoski (knee), Terrell Thomas (knee) and Markus Kuhn (knee).

David Baas (elbow, knee) and Jerrel Jernigan (hamstring) were on the side Friday but Coughlin did not list them for the PUP list.

Coughlin said he was pleased with how JPP looked and said the player was optimistic about the season. The coach added Victor Cruz came in spot-on in weight and he was excited to see how well Aaron Curry looked, as well.

Hakeem Nicks? Well, Eli Manning said the receiver told him he was 100 percent after battling foot and ankle injuries last season. The quarterback also said he was unable to get his schedule together with Victor Cruz during the last month, but it shouldn't take long for them to get back on the same page.
