Jerry Recco returned from the time-off noticeably refreshed and, with a golden tan, prepared to deliver his trademark informative and entertaining updates all morning long. That is exactly what he did.
Jerry got things started with the Yankees 6-5 win over the Rays on Sunday afternoon at the Stadium, which was highlighted by the return of Derek Jeter and capped off with Alfonso Soriano’s fourth hit of the day — a walk-off. Following the game, Suzyn Waldman caught up with Jeter and asked him about his “flair for the dramatic” — which Craig seemed to enjoy.
