B&C Morning Show: Update, Recco Style
Jerry Recco was back at it again this morning, getting everyone up to speed with his well-prepared sports update, which he began with the Alex Rodriguez/MLB fiasco, before moving on to the action on the field, as the Mets got a game-winning hit from none other than Ike Davis in their 6-5 victory over the Marlins. Jerry provided us with plenty of postgame sound.
With the trade deadline fast approaching -- tomorrow (07/31) @ 4 p.m. ET -- Craig would like to see the Mets trade away Marlon Byrd for some prospects, while Jerry thinks that Terry Collins' bunch has a chance to make a second-half run and finish at .500. Meanwhile, Boomer would just like to be able to enjoy a Mets win for once without having to listen to Craig complain about something.
Plus, the Jets sign Dee Milliner to be Dee Milliner, not Darrelle Revis, as training camps for both Gang Green and the Giants amp up...
