NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Saturday were asking the public to help identify a man who has been groping and molesting women – and in one case yanked down a woman's underwear – on subway platforms in Queens.

The five incidents happened between Feb. 5, and this past Tuesday, at the Grand Avenue/Newtown and Elmhurst Avenue stations, police said.

In the first incident on Feb. 5, the man grabbed a 19-year-old woman at the Grand Avenue/Newtown stop and forced his hands into her pants, grabbing her "private area," police said.

On March 29, the man did the same to a 43-year-old woman at the same station. On July 25, he lifted up a 47-year-old woman's skirt and grabbed her "private area" at the station, and the following day in the same place, he lifted up a 31-year-old woman's skirt, pulled down her underwear and grabbed her buttocks, police said.

This past Tuesday at the Elmhurst Avenue station, he grabbed a woman's "private area" from behind, police said.

The man was described as Hispanic and between 25 and 40 years old. He stood about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighed about 150 or 160 pounds, and was last seen wearing a navy blue or black baseball cap.

Police released two sketches of the suspect, taken from two of the victims.

No one was injured or hospitalized in the incidents.
