Police Searching For Man Accused Of Exposing, Touching Himself Aboard Subway

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Police are searching for a man accused of public lewdness on board an uptown Q train.

According to police, the suspect, described only as a white male, exposed and touched himself while seated on the train at the Canal Street and Broadway subway station.

A passenger on the subway who witnessed the June 3 incident took a cell phone video of the man.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to CRIMES (274637), then enter TIP577.

All calls are strictly confidential.

Police on Saturday released sketches of a man accused of groping women at two Queens subway stations.
