ESSEX, Conn. (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A state police dive team found a body Monday in the Connecticut River near where police were searching for a New York man who went missing while visiting a weekend lobster festival in Essex.

It was not immediately identified as 29-year-old Richard Cianflone of Valhalla, N.Y., but police called off the search for him shortly after the body was recovered.

Cianflone was last seen at about 11 p.m. Saturday at the Griswold Inn. Friends told police he was in Essex to attend the annual Lobster Feast on Saturday.
