B&C Morning Show: The A-Rod Circus
Jerry's update was dominated, as you would imagine, by A-Rod's suspension and his subsequent season debut for the New York Yankees. A-Rod made it very clear on Monday that he believes the focus of everyone should be on the positive stories in baseball.
Yeah, anything to get the attention off of him.
As far as on the field, Andy Pettitte and the Yanks got roughed up by the White Sox. The Mets had the night off but are expected to call up Wilmer Flores to likely play third base for the injured David Wright.
And what would a day be without a juicy story from Jets camp? Mark Sanchez, once again, was booed by fans during practice. Rex Ryan wants Gang Green's faithful to take it easier on Sanchez, but that's unlikely to happen, which is why Boomer continues to beat the drum for the Jets to get rid of the former first-round pick.
