Fit Minute: 2 Core Exercises With Mister Abs

NEW YORK (WLNY) -- Levi James, aka Mister Abs, returns to The Couch to show us two exercises to work the core: Advanced knee drives and "triple taps."

1) Advanced Knee drives.
Start Ina four point position on hands and knees. Life the knees and raise hips into the air. As you drop the hips push body forward driving the right knee outside the right arm, return to starting position. Alternate.
20-30 reps
Target muscles: Abs Core shoulders and obliques

2) Triple taps
Start on your back, knees slightly bent, toes up, and arms back. Your lower back is pressed into the floor. Contract the abdominal and curl up with speed. Quickly Tap your knees, toes then knees again and move to the starting position with speed as well.
20-30 reps.
Target muscles: Abs, back and shoulders.
You can also make this a time challenge and see how many you can do in 30 seconds or a full minute.
