SEASIDE HEIGHTS, N.J. (CBSNewYork/AP) – ‘Super Storm’ the ride is now up and running on the New Jersey shore.
Fifteen rides are operating at the Casino Pier, with three more scheduled to open before Labor Day.
‘Super Storm’ riders sit in a circle extended from a pendulum arm that spins around and goes upside down.
The upper deck of Casino Pier, where the Jet Star roller coaster once sat, has not yet been rebuilt.
The iconic Jet Star coaster was taken apart and removed from the Atlantic in May.
