Suspect Sought In Manhattan, Queens Robbery Spree

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are trying to find a man wanted in connection with a string of robberies in Manhattan and Queens.

The suspect has struck five times since Aug. 6 at several locations across the city, including Woodside, Forest Hills, Washington Heights and the Upper East Side, police said.

In each incident, police said the suspect walks into a store, pretends he has a gun inside a black plastic bag and demands cash.

The suspect was wearing a black Oakland Raiders baseball cap, black shirt and sunglasses in each case, police said.

The suspect is described as having a scar on the right side of his face and tattoos with lettering on his right and left arms, police said.
