A Special Guest! Gov. Christie To Co-Host With Craig Carton On Monday

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- There will be an extra-special edition of the "Boomer and Carton in the Morning" show on Monday.

With co-host Boomer Esiason on vacation in Ireland, co-host Craig Carton will be joined in the Allstate Studio by none other than New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

Christie, a frequent caller to the Boomer & Carton program, will talk sports and take calls alongside Carton from 6-10 a.m.

This isn't the governor's first time hosting alongside Carton. Known on the show as Boomer and Carton caller "Chris from Mendham," Christie previously hosted the show on Friday, May 6, 2011.

The two put on a terrific show that day, and the governor was a natural behind the microphone (like that came as a surprise). His rapport with Carton was very well-received, and he promises to be just as dynamic in his second stint as a WFAN host.

You can listen to the show online right here.

Below are some highlights from the governor's show over two years ago to get you prepared for Monday's broadcast.
