MTV's 'Awkward' Star Jillian Rose Reed On The Couch

NEW YORK (WLNY) -- There are lots of reasons why "Awkward" is the top-rated series on MTV: Great writing, hilarious moments...oh, and then there's Tamara.

Jillian Rose Reed plays the witty, relatable young woman. Before landing her role on Awkward., Reed was most often recognized for her recurring role on Showtime's hit television series Weeds as Shane's dark and rebellious friend, Simone.

The show won a People's Choice Award this past year for "Favorite Cable TV Comedy." The second half of season 3 is returning in October 2013.
