NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — According to Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports, the Jets have released wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi.
Massaquoi was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars on August 19. He played his college ball at Georgia.
The Cleveland Browns selected Massaquoi in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft.
He caught 118 receptions for 1,745 yards and seven touchdowns in four seasons with the Browns. In 2012, Massaquoi caught 17 receptions for 254 yards.
