NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Two girls – ages 8 and 14 – were located Sunday afternoon, nearly a full day after vanishing from their homes in the Bronx.

Wytia McColley, 8, and Qiarah Barmore, 14, were found at 4 p.m., police said. Qiarah had taken Wytia to an all-night party, authorities said.

They had last been seen together around 7:30 p.m. Saturday, leaving together from a building on Gun Hill Road near Holland Avenue in the Williamsbridge section of the Bronx, police said.

Details about the party, or whether it was considered appropriate for young children, were not immediately learned.
