Police: Man Smelled Woman's Feet During Sex Assault In The Bronx

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with the sex assaults of two women just minutes apart last week in the Bronx.

Around 1:10 a.m. Friday, police said the suspect came up behind an 18-year-old woman on Sedgwick Avenue in University Heights and choked her to the ground.

The suspect then took off the woman's shoes and smelled her feet before fleeing the scene, police said.

About 20 minutes later, police said the suspect came up behind a 24-year-old woman on Park View Place, choked her and then tried to open her pants.

The woman resisted and the suspect ran off.
