Boomer & Carton: Busy NFL Sunday, But Jerry's Up To The Task
After an eventful weekend that included Week 1 of the NFL season, Jerry Recco had his work cut out for him as far as the update game was concerned this morning -- but he was clearly up to the task.
Jerry spent a good portion of his time on the Giants' disappointing, turnover-laden 36-31 loss to the Cowboys, which included some play-by-play audio of Giants radio man Bob Papa, as well as some reaction from an upset Tom Coughlin.
Plus, the Jets start off their season with a win, an 18-17 triumph over the Bucs at MetLife Stadium; Mark Sanchez (shoulder) and Matt Harvey (elbow) both scheduled to meet with Dr. Andrews in Alabama; Boomer talks about his dealings with the famed doctor; Patriots survive in Buffalo, Jaguars ineptitude displayed, Anquain Boldin makes a splash in his 49ers debut; and the Yanks hang on to beat the Red Sox 4-3.
