Some Voters Disgusted By Manhattan Polling Inspector’s T-Shirt
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Voters in Manhattan’s 5th District were outraged on Tuesday after they spotted a polling inspector wearing a vulgar t-shirt.
A photo of a man shows him wearing a black t-shirt with white letters and a series of spaces and the question “Would You Like To Buy A Vowel?”
The New York City Board of Elections was alerted to the incident and were actively trying to locate the polling location in question.
On Tuesday the board Tweeted that “The cap and the shirt were completely inappropriate work attire, Poll workers should be business casual.”
The board added that the man should have been sent home. There was no word on if the individual was removed.
