Pastor Interrupts Wedding Ceremony To Scold Photographer, Tells Him To Leave

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - The Pope isn't the only man of the cloth making headlines this week.

An area couple's big day has gotten bigger after a video of their wedding went viral.

That's because the pastor officiating the ceremony brought the proceedings to a halt to give the photographers the boot.

The whole thing was caught on video.

The video, uploaded Tuesday, has garnered more than 300,000 views.

A cameraman and videographer positioned themselves behind the pastor to capture the vows. At one point, however, the pastor stops, and says "Please, sirs, leave. Please."

When asked where they should be, the pastor says "Anywhere other than here."

"This is a solemn assembly, not a photography session," the pastor says as the couple exchange an awkward glance. "Please move, or I will stop."

At this point the couple look somewhat aghast.

"I will stop the ceremony if you do not get out of the way," the pastor says. "This is not about the photography. This is about God."

The cameramen appear to move, and the video stops.
