Police Ask For Help In Hunt For Bronx Killer

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a man wanted for questioning in connection with a fatal shooting last month in the Bronx.

Oscar Araujo, 20, was shot in the head just after midnight on Aug. 13 on the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and East 172nd Street in Parkchester area. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the New York Daily News, Araujo, an aspiring rapper, was gunned down in front of his girlfriend near his home.

No arrests have been made.

Police have released surveillance images of a man they are seeking for questioning. He is described as black and about 6 feet tall. He was seen wearing a white T-shirt and a Washington Nationals baseball cap.
