HOLBROOK, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – Police on Long Island are investigating the drawing of swastikas and racial slurs on vehicles in Holbrook late last month.

It happened on Spring Meadow Drive sometime between 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 29 and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 30, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.

A similar incident was reported in Nassau County last week. Police said somebody drew swastikas with chalk on several cars in Bethpage and Massapequa Park last Wednesday.
