4 Hurt When SUV Taxi Flips Over In Queens

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A taxi flipped over in Maspeth, Queens Wednesday afternoon, leaving four people injured.

The accident happened around 4:15 p.m. at Borden and Maurice avenues in Queens, authorities said.

The sport-utility vehicle taxi flipped over, and Emergency Medical Services crews had to extricate the passengers, authorities told CBS 2.

Four people were taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center, where they were reported in serious condition.

The cause of the accident was not immediately learned.
