VALLEY STREAM, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – Nassau County Police are searching for two men accused of using an AK-47 rifle to rob a food delivery man.

According to police, a Chinese food delivery driver from King Long Restaurant was making a delivery to Marlowe Road around 9:35 Tuesday night.

One of the suspects called out to the driver from the driveway, police said.

When the delivery man got out of his car and started walking towards the first man, a second suspect approached the victim from behind pointing what appeared to be an AK-47, police said.

The victim was ordered to hand over the food and cash and then lay on the ground, police said.

The suspects then allegedly searched the victim’s pockets before running off.

The driver told police his car keys, cell phone and cash were also taken from his car.

Police have only described the suspects as black males with thin builds and about six feet tall.

Anyone with information regarding this crime is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
