With the Angels’ season over, Mike Trout has plenty of time to hang out by the pool and talk on the phone, which was exactly what the rising MLB star was doing this morning with Boomer and Craig.

Trout called in on the heels of the guys’ spirited discussion with Fernando Mateo, the president of Hispanics Across America, which made for an interesting start.

After Trout got through recalling his fond memories of eating Subway as a kid, he talked about his frustration in the Angels not making the playoffs, rooting for the Phillies as a lad, the perception of the big bad New York Yankees and reiterated his take on the PEDs after creating a little bit of a firestorm the last time he called in
