NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Central Park Paws, a program of the Central Park Conservancy, invites dogs and owners of all ages to celebrate Central Park's vibrant dog community and promote responsible stewardship of the Park at the 11th Annual My Dog Loves Central Park Fair on Saturday.

Among the activities is the "Best In Park" event, featuring a variety of competitions, each testing a different behavior skill. Other activities include musical chairs with your dog, the "Woof Wheel" Central Park trivia game, storytelling and face painting at the Children's Corner, and photos with your pup.

Canine benefits to be offered include microchipping by the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals and Canine Good Citizen certification from the American Kennel Club.  There will also be representatives from the Central Park Conservancy on hand, to answer questions about dog owners' rights and responsibilities in Central Park.
