Latest Polls Show Mangano Holds Substantial Lead Over Suozzi
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano has established a large lead in the polls over challenger Tom Suozzi.
Fifty-two percent of voters said that they backed Mangano compared to thirty-five percent for Suozzi, according to a Newsday, News 12, and Siena College poll.
The latest numbers are a shift from the dead heat that the candidates were locked in over the summer.
The two men ran against each other for the Nassau County Executive's seat in 2009.
