NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — The Giants are off to a shocking 0-6 start. Big changes could be on the horizon. According to CBS Sports NFL insider Jason La Canfora, Giants general manager Jerry Reese could be ready to field offers for star wide receiver Hakeem Nicks.
Nicks is set to become an unrestricted free agent in the offseason. The 25-year-old wide receiver is expected to command big bucks in free agency. According to La Canfora, multiple teams are having internal discussions over the possibility of attempting to acquire Nicks as a rental via trade.
The former North Carolina University standout has 25 receptions through six games for the Giants in 2013, totaling 442 yards.
