Cops Look For Brooklyn Diner Burglar

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A burglar sneaked into a Brooklyn diner last month and made off with an iPad and $300, police said.

Police are asking for help for the public's help in tracking down the suspect. They have released surveillance photos of the man they are seeking.

The thief entered Jimmy's Diner, at 92 Calyer St. in Greenpoint, through a basement door around 5:20 a.m. on Sept. 24, police said. The suspect is described as being in his 30s, standing about 6 feet tall, weighing around 170 pounds and having a beard. During the burglary, he was seen wearing a green baseball hat, dark sweatshirt, jeans and tan work boots.
