Police: Headless Chickens Found In Bag Outside L.I. Church
NEW HYDE PARK, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Long Island are trying to figure out who left two headless chickens in a plastic bag outside a church.
A landscaper found the bag in front of a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church in New Hyde Park Thursday morning, police said.
Authorities believe the bag was left at the church between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 8:50 a.m. Thursday.
