Thanks, in no small part to the pig roast/tailgate, spearheaded by our very own Craig Carton, the Giants got their first victory of the season last night with a 23-7 win over the Vikings. Jerry Recco was on hand this morning to provide all of the details.
Before Jerry could get started, though, Craig directed listeners to take a look at the video documenting yesterday’s activities in the MetLife parking lot, which offers a pretty good idea of how things went down.
Jerry then provided us with a pretty good idea of how things went down for the Giants, and Craig laid out a scenario where the 1-6, Giants could actually make the playoffs.
Plus, the Jets coaching staff outsmarts the Patriots, Bill Belichick offers an apology of sorts and there are a rash of injuries in the NFL. Jim Leyland retires as manager of the Tigers and Don Mattingly takes part in a terribly-awkward press conference…
