Cops Recover Stolen 'The Squeeze' Food Truck In Queens, Suspect Still At Large

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- Police have recovered a bright pink truck called "The Squeeze".

Owner Karliin Brooks uses the truck to run a raw food and fresh juice business.  The truck was swiped early Sunday morning.

Surveillance cameras showed the suspect entering a Williamsburg deli on Graham Avenue, where Brooks leaves her spare company keys. Deli workers said the man claimed to be a driver for The Squeeze, and they handed the keys over to him, no questions asked.

Brooks said she recognizes the suspect as someone she fired in June. Police have identified the man but are not releasing his name.

The man then broke into her company's warehouse down the street, Brooks said.

"Burglarized our commissary, stole a lot of equipment," she said.

The suspect then used the keys to drive the food truck out of a gated parking lot a few blocks away, Brooks said.

The truck was found in Rosedale, Queens.
