The pursuit ended in an alleyway on Moshulu Parkway where an officer fired one shot, 1010 WINS' Steve Sandberg reported.

No injuries were reported.

Residents in the neighborhood were stunned.

"I've lived in this neighborhood for more than 20 years and this is the most action I've seen in it," resident Joanna Mercado said.

"This area is quiet, and you don't get that much police activity," resident Kat Vargas said. "It's unnerving."

The suspects were taken into custody and a gun was recovered at the scene.
