Search On For 2 Suspects Who Smashed Glass Counters, Stole From Jewelry Store
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A search was under way Monday night for the thieves who smashed through the counters of a jewelry store in Lower Manhattan.
Around 5:30 p.m., two men entered way into the Golden Nugget Jewelers, at 67 Nassau St., police said.
They then used a hammer to break the glass, and stole an unknown amount of jewelry, police said.
Police were searching for the two suspects Monday night. No description was immediately available.
