Police Search For 2 Suspects In Brooklyn Rape

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Wednesday were searching two suspects in connection with the sexual assault a 16-year-old girl in Brooklyn late last week.

The girl was waiting for the B12 bus near East New York Avenue and East 95th Street around 8 a.m. this past Friday when a dark blue vehicle, possible a livery cab, pulled up alongside her, police said.

The first man stormed out of the vehicle from the back seat with a black firearm in his hand and pushed the girl into the car at gunpoint, police said. The suspect then allegedly sexually assaulted the girl in the vehicle, police said.

The girl was treated and released at a nearby hospital, police said.

Police described the alleged assailant as a black male around 5 feet 9 inches tall, between the ages of 30 and 35, with corn rows and possibly an African accent. Police have released a sketch of the suspect.
