NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) — Police are looking for two suspects wanted in connection with a violent robbery at a Columbia University apartment.

Surveillance cameras captured two possible suspects entering the building at West 111th Street near Broadway on Monday night.

The suspects pushed their way into the building when a resident answered the door, according to police.

A roommate walked in and found the suspects taking cash and a cell phone, investigators said.

One of the victims was beaten before the suspects escaped.
